On September 29, 1989, Melissa Etheridge showcased most of the material from her first two albums at New York’s prestigious Bottom Line club. Broadcast on WNEW-FM, these performances include half of the songs from her 1988 Melissa Etheridge album, as well as every selection from the 1989’s follow-up Brave Crazy. Also featured are a cover of Marvin Gaye’s classic “Let’s Get It On” and an original composition, “Ready to Love,” that was not included on either of her initial pair of studio albums.
