I have a Lenco 88 that's been up in the shed for longer than I'd care to admit, and I now feel the urge to get it sorted at long last. I've started looking at plinths; what is the general consensus regarding slate vs. layered ply? I was going to go for an SME 3012/SPU, but that could work out expensive too. Maybe a 3009/DL103? I wonder how much of a drop in SQ that would be? Quite a lot to think about, but I think that I might actually get around to doing it this time!
