CHARLES MINGUS: LIVE IN EUROPE 1975 (CD+DVD)

Charles Mingus was one of the all-time great jazz bass players, as well as an innovative composer and a leader with a clear vision of where he wanted his music to go. In 1975 he made his first appearance at the Montreux Jazz Festival, joined by the players who had worked with him on the landmark Changes One and Changes Two albums, from which the set on the DVD is primarily drawn.
