Releasing a series of critically well received albums through the seventies she first broke through with the 1977 album Sweet Forgiveness.

Whilst this album brought Bonnie to the attention of the mass audience it would be another 12 years and a change of record label before she received both critical and commercial success including Grammy awards for the album Nick Of TimeThe performances contained on this set come from the earliest part of Bonnie Raitt’s career and contain songs written by both Bonnie and key songwriters including Jackson Browne, Randy Newman and Steve Winwood. The performances also feature a wealth of material reflecting Bonnie’s love of the Blues and folk.

There is a proven track record for Bonnie Raitt who is now a worldwide known artist and commands a loyal and large audience. These performances reach back to the very foundations on which Bonnie built her successful career upon and some of the songs from this release still feature in Bonnie’s current stage show.
