Its a good amp. To be honest the sound is quite "bright" and modern. The inputs are fantastic - the on board dac is a boon. The preamp out works superbly with a power amp. I`m running a pro amp off a seconf set of speakers. Its very smooth and old school sounding, and the blend of the two , to my ears is perfection. It was more of a happy accident than design.
