Has anyone noticed the Dynaudio sound is getting more clinical, lacking a certain warmth? I’ve been listening to the new Emit 10, a not in-expensive entry level product, and remember it’s predecessor (Emit M10) being a much better, bassier speaker with a lovely romantic sounding mid-range. Perhaps the new tuning is a more accurate musical reproduction?
I’ve also observed , that on eBay, their older models garner incredible bids because they don’t often come up, and yet, there’s been an abundance of Special 40’s available…
I owned a couple of pairs of Audiences many moons ago and those speakers boogied and pounded out the bass like no other at the time but you’d be hard pressed to associate that sound with their latest products…many Dynaudio fans on here?
