First time on 180 grm Vinyl
The Airing Cupboard Tapes were so called because they were put away in an airing cupboard for several years by Dave Pegg when they were running Woodworm Records. When they were discovered a deal was struck between HTD Records and Dave and the album The Airing Cupboard tapes were released. The album features Sandy Denny, Simon Nicol, Trevor Lucas, Dave Pegg, Jerry Donahue and Dave Swarbrick. The recordings span the years 1971 to 1974 featuring several line-ups. There are no overdubs or re-mixes and the listener gets the recordings as if it were heard on the night. A great album with a great classic line-up.
