We are told .....
Gene Clark & Chris Hillman, team up as Flyte at California’s Palomino Club in 1982.
As founder members of the Byrds, Gene Clark and Chris Hillman will need no introduction to fans of folk-rock, country-rock or singer-songwriting. In 1982 the legendary singer-guitarists teamed up with Herb Pedersen (guitar / banjo), Al Perkins (steel guitar) and Trey Thompson (bass) to form the short-lived Flyte. These two superb sets were broadcast on KPFK-FM at California’s best-known country music venue, the Palomino Club, and find them tackling a range of material spanning the Byrds, Dillard & Clark, the Flying Burrito Brothers and their solo careers.
