I'm going to mount my tonearm separately from the TT plinth, although they'll both be located on the same hardwood shelf. The TT plinth is slate with 3 x mounting cones, each located into a metal disc, which sits on the hardwood shelf. The TT is a Garrard 301 and these are the cones
