Dr. FEELGOOD: Lee Brilleaux: Rock ‘n’ Roll Gentleman (4CD Box Set)

We are told:

The material in this 4CD set covers the Dr Feelgood frontman, Lee Brilleaux’s 20 years with the band from 1974 to his early death in 1994. Including his early recordings with Wilko Johnson, through the second line-up with Gypie Mayo and then through the 1980s and 90s  to his last live album ‘Down At The Doctors’.

More than two decades on from Brilleaux’s death, this singular rock ‘n’ roll gent is still loved, and is still looked up to as an arbiter of class and style. His personal legacy goes beyond the music he leaves behind, but it’s a great place to start, and it’s a thrilling place to return to.

This 4CD/40pp booklet contains 93 Dr Feelgood recordings covering Lee Brilleaux and the bands recording career.  2 previously unreleased tracks, an extensive sleeve note by Zoe Howe and many rare and previously unseen photographs of Lee and Dr Feelgood are inside.

It coincides with the upcoming April release of the softback edition book on the life of Brilleaux called: ‘Rock ‘N’ Roll Gentleman’ The adventures of Dr Feelgood’s iconic frontman.
