

Guy, winner of six Grammys and a man inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 2005, was from a family of sharecroppers in a village called Lettsworth in Louisiana. When, after moving to Chicago, Guy first meets Waters, the successful elder musician brings the hungry youngster a Salami sandwich, saying: "You a farm boy?". Waters later tells the homesick youngster: "Pick cotton long enough and you never complain 'bout having to pick the guitar."
