TT bearing – how much oil to use?

The thread starts .....

I can't seem to find a sensible answer on the web for this - I'm restoring a Michell Transciptors Hydraulic Ref TT - final job before filling the silicon damping well is to oil/reassemble the bearing - looks v. simple, just a shaft with an inverted cone in the end sitting in a fairly closely toleranced housing with a BB at the bottom - I've got a little bottle of bearing oil from Michell, but have no idea how much I should use - ther are no funky grooves or anything to carry the oil around the bearing, and I am wary of putting in too much, as it would have nowhere to go.
