Elvin Bishop is an icon of blues and Southern Rock with a 50-year performing career and thousands of devoted fans.

He was a founding member of the seminal Paul Butterfield Blues Band, and later a member of Capricorn Records' stable of Southern Rock masters, writing and performing the Top 10 hit "Fooled Around And Fell In Love. Elvin's last four albums have scanned a total of 37,500 units.

Can't Even Do Wrong Right is a masterpiece of rollicking blues and R&B, shot through with Elvin's stinging fretwork and performed with an undeniable spirit of raucous good times.

Songs include five new Bishop originals and Elvin takes on Jimmy Reed's "Honest I Do," Fats Domino's "Bo Weevil" and Lionel Hampton's "Hey-Ba-Ba-Re-Bop." Bishop is backed by his stellar road band, plus guest artists Mickey Thomas (who sang on "Fooled Around And Fell In Love") and blues harp icon Charlie Musselwhite.
