All these tweaks worked but I don’t use them any more.
Cleaning a record, using CleanWave on a Power Plant, adding diffusers to the room, using isolation bases – these I still do. What changes when something is all the rage and then is either forgotten or becomes part of the culture? I am actually unsure. Just to check and see if I was kidding myself back then, I demagnetized a CD before play – the difference was there.
So, maybe I am just lazy?
I think this is a subject worth pondering and discussing.
