Having kept a low profile in the late 70s, in 1980 a reinvigorated John Kay formed a new band and resumed performing under the legendary Steppenwolf name. This superb set, performed at My Fathers Place, Roslyn, NY on 16th February 1980, was broadcast on WLIR 92.7 FM, and captures the quintet tearing through a selection of the bands best known material, as well as some lesser-known gems.
