Renaud Capuçon has already demonstrated his searching, sympathetic way with Brahms on various discs of the chamber music, including the piano trios with his cellist brother Gautier Capuçon and the pianist Nicholas Angelich (Virgin 5 45502 2), the violin sonatas with Angelich (5 45731 2) and the piano quartets with the same fellow artists plus the viola player Gérard Caussé (EMI 5 19310 2).
