NAIM: Power cuts killed his says this man ….. but did it?

Knowledgeable folk, We recently had a power cut. Not unusual and not normally an issue. However, this time power came back on like a fluorescent bulb flickering to life, rapidly on and off before restoring properly. I then found the fuses in the power supplies for the CDS3 and NAC52 had blown. No problem, I replaced the fuses. Still no life. Apparently, Naim kit doesn't like being switched on and off quickly. Does anyone have any ideas as to the damage likely to be caused, and costs to repair it? Am currently trying to get the electric company to pay (they declined so far).
