They say:

We're very much in west London this month with a piece on the Ealing Festival and a history of the Eel Pie Club in our Club spot. Matt Schofield will be returning to our shores shortly for a few gigs and some of them with Henrik Freischlader - we get the full run down in a chat with both of them.

Paul Jones kindly mentioned the magazine on his BBC Radio 2 show in relation to The Backbone Blues Band, so this month we feature an interview with them. Many of you will have seen Marcus Malone on the road; he's currently out and about in support of his album A Better Man. Read all about Marcus and his love of vinyl on page 27. We know some of you like to hear about and occasionally go to Festivals abroad, so we have a Brits report on the New Orleans Jazz & Blues Festival. Introducing himself is our busking bluesman George C Glasser, who doesn't want to sell you anything. We've got your reviews of gigs and festivals as well as a batch of new releases on CD. For those listening to their blues at home the Radio Guide starts on page 42.

Enjoy the read and get out and see some live music, until next month - Enjoy Yer Blues!
