HARBETH: Marantz PM14 and Harbeth

Few days ago I bought Marantz PM14 and it's connected to Harbeth C7ES3 speakers. Prior to marantz I had Rega Brio-R which is still in my opinion one of the most increadible deals in hifi - especially if you listen to jazz and acoustic music. Back to Marantz - you can tell that it has the power in a way instruments hold together, but I'm not that satisfied with upper frequencies - Rega was better in this segment. Also, bass can be overwelming, but that could also be the room.  I compared it this weekend with Rega Elicit-R and elicit sounds better. It's less dynamic, but has a really beautiful upper and lower freq. range - due to extension in highs, soundstage is bigger, but on other hand, this extension in highs is not that good for badly produced recording. Marantz has solved this problem with .....
