Grumbling women

The thread startsJust spent some time going through the thread looking at all the different turntables which I truly enjoyed, from seriously top end to the enthusiast starting out for the first time.I’m wishing I did not go down the DS route and in turn ending up with a full Linn system. My DS loses its configuration quite often which is a real pain as it can take over an hour to get the relearn configuration back up and running. I used to ask my wife and daughter what they were doing to the DS , poor souls were innocent. When the power goes down slightly from the main grid this in turn makes the DS lose its configuration.

This is one of the reasons I went out and bought a turntable which is my main source now. Would like to get rid of the DS but my wife loves the simplicity of playlists and not having to change LP sides. So at the end of the day have what I have. Love the turntable and I like the Linn sound not too much colour so you hear all the fine detail have spent for me too much to go start again.

However if I was to know what I know now it would be a full blown turntable system probably with valve amps.
